First Trip to Northern Ireland—Our Blog Post of the Week

Northern Ireland over spring break? It’s easy to do when you’re studying abroad in Dublin. When Margaret Anderle’s (Dublin, Spring 2015) dad came to visit, the two left Dublin, heading north to explore the cities, towns, and beautiful coastline and countryside of both Northern Ireland and the bordering region of the Republic of Ireland.

In our Blog Post of the Week, Maragaret and her dad covered hundreds of miles in the region, and got to explore (among other places) Giant’s Causeway, County Sligo, and Belfast. They also took a hike up to a waterfall that inspired the W.B. Yeats poem, “Stolen Child.”
