The IES Abroad Photo Contest is officially open for entry! Spring and Summer 2015 students are invited to submit their original photos for a chance to win $200 in each of the following four categories. 

  • The Student Experience—Photo(s) should be of you and/or your IES Abroad classmates in your host city.

  • Landscapes & Landmarks—Photo(s) should be of the local sites in your host city. (Photos might be of landmarks, buildings, landscapes, or local residents and culture.)

  • The Global Classroom—Photo(s) should be of you and/or your classmates learning abroad. Pictures can be of IES Abroad students in the classroom, during course-related excursion, during cultural events/activities, or engaging with local culture.

  • Most Epic Selfie—Photo(s) should be of you showing off your host city. 

We will upload the best photos to our Facebook page, and ask our 18,000+ fans to vote for their favorites.

Entering is simple. Just use our Photo Contest Online Submission Form. The deadline for entries is August 2nd, 2015.

Photos and images submitted to IES Abroad for the Photo Contest become the sole property of IES Abroad, including  all right, title and interest therein, and will not be returned. By submitting your photograph(s),you also permit IES Abroad to use your name in conjunction with any photographs used to promote IES Abroad programs in any and all media. IES Abroad has the sole right to determine the future use of the photos. Photos depicting any activity that is against IES Abroad policy will not be considered in the Contest. This includes but is not limited to photos of skydiving, bungee jumping, and zip-lining.
