In this Blog Post of the Week, IES Abroad Cape Town student blogger, Alexa Szotka, describes a cooking class that she and her friend, Atara, took with a local teacher in the colorful Bo Kaap neighborhood of Cape Town.
After much delicious food, laughter, and fun, she writes, “I was just reflecting on how wonderful the day had gone, and it had completely exceeded my expectations. The day was just a reminder that there are still so many caring and life-loving people that I haven’t met yet, and that I will still have to travel the world to find.”
