About the Program

Length: 10 days

We invite you to consider our IES Abroad Buenos Aires Center as a site for welcoming your cohort for a 10-day program focused on social change. Courses and co-curricular activities are meant to maximize the use of the IES Abroad Center as a classroom while expanding students’ perspectives more broadly to experience life in a globalized society. IES Abroad will serve as both their introduction to our Global Good Commitment as well as the platform for exposing them to the rich traditions of the “life of the mind” that are present in a world-class city. This program is meant to appeal to Gender Studies, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Social Work, and Urban Studies students or to students of any major interested in working at non-profits through visits related to well-known organizations, and guest lectures with industry experts.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee the availability of all housing, excursions, cultural events, guest lecturers or tours.

Academics

Academic Program includes:

  • One Faculty Director course (content TBD by the school, not transcripted through IES Abroad Registrar); Three hours of ‘survival’ Spanish Language
