About the Program
Length: Three to four weeks
Consider our IES Abroad Seoul Center, in collaboration with Korea University's Korean Language Center (KU KLC), as the ideal destination for your cohort’s Korean Language & Culture Immersion program. Designed for students of all backgrounds—especially those in Korean language, Asian Studies, International Relations, Business, and Media Studies—the program combines intensive language instruction, immersive cultural experiences, and interactive site visits. Students gain firsthand exposure to Korea’s linguistic heritage, historical traditions, and modern global influence, from ancient palaces and Confucianism to K-pop, digital innovation, and global business. Guest lectures from scholars and industry professionals further enrich the experience, offering unique insights into Korea’s role on the world stage.

Academics
Academic Program includes:
- One Faculty Director course (content TBD by the School, not transcripted through IES Abroad Registrar)
AND - Korea University's Korean Language Center courses, tailored to students' academic interests and language proficiency. The Korean Language Program at KU KLC offers structured, immersive instruction at various proficiency levels, enhancing students’ communication skills in real-world contexts.
