About the Program
Length: Five weeks
We invite you to consider our Rome Center as a site for welcoming your cohort. This highly immersive and innovative summer program focuses on understanding the features of daily life in the Ancient Roman World from an interdisciplinary perspective. The program is meant to appeal to Archaeology, Architecture, Anthropology, History and Art History students. Explore Rome through its urban spaces and functions, starting with religious and sacred sites and examining their architectural design for fostering spiritual engagement. It then traces the evolution of Roman housing from the Republic to the Empire, highlighting the influence of political and social changes on architecture.
