On December 16 IES Abroad Granada Center Director, Javier Martinez de Velasco, the IES Abroad Granada staff, and Art History Professor Ana Hernandez Walta shared holiday traditions with IES Alumni. During this event we learned about the origins of the sweet holiday treats called ‘mantecados’ and ‘polvorones’ made by various convents in Granada, played a trivia game to test your knowledge of Granada, and heard from IES alums who have made Spain their home after study abroad. Whether or not you studied in Granada, you'll feel right at home and learn something new.
