About IES Abroad Florence

Located in the heart of Florence's city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, American University of Florence (AUF) gives students the opportunity to live and learn in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. AUF's student body comes from 35+ countries, yet offers a small classroom size of 12 students or fewer. AUF has six buildings across Florence, deeply embedding the student experience into the community. Students have access to AUF's Student Life and Development Department, which provides housing and emergency support, but also sports nights, a music club, mini gym access, and cultural connections.
