Susan Thomas

Director for Financial Aid

Susan Thomas is the Director for Financial Aid and has been with IES Abroad since 2016. She oversees IES Abroad’s High-Impact Aid Commitment program—from awarding scholarships to collaborating with partners on strategic financial aid initiatives—to increase student access to study abroad.

She brings a wealth of experience in financial aid and enrollment management from her seven years on the Global Enrollment Management Team at IES Abroad. Susan graduated from Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, IN, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. She studied abroad in the Netherlands, Japan, and Cuba.
