Beginning Wednesday, July 1 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time, you will not be able to log in or create an account while we transition to our new student portal. Access is expected to be restored by the end of the day on Monday, July 6.

If you have started any forms in your MyIESabroad student portal, please complete and submit them by end of day Tuesday, June 30. Submitted forms will carry over automatically. Any forms that are started but not submitted by June 30 will not transfer—but don't worry, you'll still have access to the same forms in the new portal on July 6.

For more details, please review our student system upgrade information. Want a heads-up when the new portal is live? Fill out our interest form. Thank you for your patience during this transition. We're excited to welcome you into the new portal and continue supporting you every step of the way.

We Reached Our Goal - 50 Building Bridges Monthly Donors

We are excited to announce that with the help of the IES Abroad community of alumni and friends, we have successfully reached our goal of securing 50 monthly donors for the Building Bridges Monthly Giving Program.

Reaching this goal has allowed us to provide a strong foundation of sustainable support for students who require scholarship funds to embark on their life-changing adventures. It has also unlocked a $6,000 challenge grant from two generous donors for study abroad scholarships!

IES Abroad parent Wendy Feldman and alumnus Steve Streich (IES Abroad Vienna, Fall 1971) generously contributed to the $6,000 challenge grant to inspire supporters and maximize the impact on study abroad students with financial need.

This summer, we launched the Building Bridges Monthly Giving Program to create a community of supporters dedicated to building a more understanding and peaceful world through the education of our next generation of global leaders. Their monthly contributions will provide a strong foundation of sustainable support for students who require scholarship funds to embark on their life-changing adventures.

A sincere thank you to the 50 alumni and friends who made a monthly giving commitment and helped us unlock Wendy and Steve’s challenge grant. For many students, the transformative experience of studying and interning abroad would not be possible without your help.

Interested in being a part of the impact? It’s never too late to join our monthly giving community as a Building Bridges Member! Start your monthly gift and join the community. Your membership even starts with a surprise welcome gift! Members also receive Building Bridges Impact Updates with stories from scholarship students studying abroad right now.

“When education runs in conjunction with global travel – not only is this a true gift for our children, THIS is when the magic happens!”
