Beginning Wednesday, July 1 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time, you will not be able to log in or create an account while we transition to our new student portal. Access is expected to be restored by the end of the day on Monday, July 6.

If you have started any forms in your MyIESabroad student portal, please complete and submit them by end of day Tuesday, June 30. Submitted forms will carry over automatically. Any forms that are started but not submitted by June 30 will not transfer—but don't worry, you'll still have access to the same forms in the new portal on July 6.

Katie Burke

Executive Director of Customized & Faculty-Led Programs

Katie Burke joined IES Abroad in 2015 and currently serves as Executive Director of Customized & Faculty-Led Programs. In this role, she oversees the strategy and operations of the customized programs team. She brings more than sixteen years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the areas of program design, college relations, student advising, risk management, international student services, marketing, evaluation and assessment, and student instruction and counseling.

Prior to joining IES Abroad, Katie worked in International Programs at Salve Regina University and Northeastern University. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Kansas and an M.Ed. from Loyola University Chicago. As a student, she participated in faculty-led programs at both institutions, experiences that continue to inform her work in the field today.
