U.S.-Based Customized Program Manager (CPM) and Coordinator (CPC):

• Will assist your students in planning and preparing for your program.

Chicago-Based Dean of Students Office and Crisis Management Team:

• Available 24/7 in case of serious student emergencies.

Center-Based Staff (Program Manager/Coordinators):

• Available 24/7 in case of emergencies. Will be your Center contact for the program and work closely with you to prepare and implement the program. Will accompany students on all IES Abroad-sponsored events.

Enhanced Health & Safety:

• Additional predeparture orientations for the cohort prior to arrival on-site. Student Success Coordinator onsite and available to the group. Additional reflection time built into coursework and
  pre-/post-excursions.

CISI Insurance (Required): 

• This insurance covers IES Abroad students, faculty, and guests anywhere in the world during the
  specified program dates. Coverage includes doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, mental health
  treatment, and prescription drugs.

Orientation (Required): 

• Virtual and on-site orientations, including overview of the Center and the city, and comprehensive
  health and safety.

Walking City Tour:

• Program includes a guided city walking tour

Meals:

• Welcome and farewell dinners to build sense of community and cohesion within the cohort.

Transportation Passes:

• IES Abroad will provide transportation passes for the School’s students and faculty member for the
  period of the program.

Student Housing:

• Students will be housed in a student residence. Students may be housed in a single room with a
  private bathroom and either a shared kitchen or a kitchenette in their room.

Site Visits Within City:

• Program includes four integrated site visits that bring together academic focus with tourist interests. Examples include: Schonbrunn Palace, Belvedere, Viennese Coffee House, Ringstrasse Walking Tour, Hofburg Palace, etc.

Day Trips Outside of City:

• Depending on the length, program may include one day trip out of the city that highlights the context of the immediate region. Examples include: Wachau Valley, Donau Auen, Mauthausen Concentration Camp, Bratislava, etc.

Field Trips Outside of City:

• Depending on the length, program may include one overnight trip that may be linked thematically to
  courses. Accommodations, meals, and activities to be included. Examples include: Salzburg, Styria,
  and Prague

Cultural Events:

• Program includes three cultural events for the University’s students during the program such as
  opera performance, wine tasting, athletic events, concerts, and film screenings

Available upon request. Includes cost of all program components listed above. Does not include international airfare to/from the host country. Ten student minimum required to run the program. This document does not constitute a legally binding agreement.
