Meet Our Summer 2026 Correspondents!

I am a third-year student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying political science. I love exploring and trying new things as well as being a leader. I believe you only get to be young once, and I want to experience as much of life as I can.

I am interested in becoming a Policy Consultant for International Learning Standards. I love to do makeup for theatrical productions and have done private makeovers. I love to play videogames, mostly psychological thrillers and hack n slash!

I am a motivated and creative student that participates in a variety of ways on campus (Salt Co, sorority, director position, peer tutoring). In my free time, I love to hang out with friends, hike, go line dancing, watch sports, and read.

I love to practice yoga, read, bike, and journal. I'm also a big music nerd and host my own radio show at WCBN-FM, the University of Michigan's radio station! I'm originally from New Jersey, but I have lots of family in Poland that I visit often. :D

I'm a junior becoming a speech-language pathologist. Outside of school, I love traveling, going to concerts, thrifting, visiting gardens, crafts, and hanging out with friends. I already have some concerts lined up, and I can't wait!

I’m a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington. I’ve been a content creator for BSU for 2 years and served as Forest Dorm president for a year. I’ve managed multiple social media accounts since high school, as well as running a production page.

I am an IUB undergraduate student in a pre-law track, aiming to advocate for those in the Latinx community. I further love to create content to make others' voices in higher education heard and valued. I have a dog named Blossom, and enjoy traveling!

I'm a Yale rising sophomore from DC with heritage from Chile, Mexico, and Jamaica. I love sports, exploring new cultures, and am studying abroad in Barcelona to grow academically and personally, improve my spanish, and step out of my comfort zone.

My name is Alisha Latham and I'm a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Political Science, Legal Studies, and Spanish. Outside of academics, I enjoy skiing, spending time with friends outdoors, watching movies, and trying new foods!

Hi! I'm Brenley, and I am studying neuroscience at Indiana University. I love doing neuroscience research in the lab. In my spare time, I ride horses (which I've been doing for over 10 years!), I read and watch movies, and work on my photography.

I'm a Marketing major at Indiana University interested in content creation and digital media. I enjoy exploring new places, trying new things, and capturing moments through video. I'm always looking for ways to be more creative and push myself.

Hello, my name is Kirsten Polk and I am a rising Junior at Yale University studying Electrical Engineering. I am a First-Generation Low Income (FGLI) Black American student and this will be my first time out of the country. I have been studying Spanish all of my life.

I am a third year electrical engineering student at the University of Iowa minoring in German. I know how to play the flute, piccolo, piano, and drums, and enjoy playing tennis and pickleball (whew!).
