Beginning Wednesday, July 1 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time, you will not be able to log in or create an account while we transition to our new student portal. Access is expected to be restored by the end of the day on Monday, July 6.

If you have started any forms in your MyIESabroad student portal, please complete and submit them by end of day Tuesday, June 30. Submitted forms will carry over automatically. Any forms that are started but not submitted by June 30 will not transfer—but don't worry, you'll still have access to the same forms in the new portal on July 6.

The Study Abroad Scholarship for Future Engineers was established by an anonymous donor to encourage more engineering students to have the enriching, life changing experience of study abroad.

Eligibility: 

  • Applicants must be accepted to and attend an IES Abroad standard program in the fall, spring, academic year, or calendar year
  • Applicants must be undergraduates in good standing at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Applicants must have declared at least one engineering discipline as a major
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need
  • Preference will be given to applicants with strong academic performance
