Upcoming Sessions:

Studying STEM Abroad

Who says Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math majors can’t study abroad? Not us! Join us to hear about IES Abroad programs that offer hands-on, immersive experiences and take learning out of the classroom and into the real world. We partner with some of the top universities in the world to offer once-in-a-lifetime academic opportunities. Environmental Studies and Health Sciences will also be introduced during this session.

Thursday, April 1st

Bloopers: Learning Moments Abroad

We won’t be playing any tricks on you this April Fool’s Day, but we will be exposing the moments from studying abroad that don’t go according to plan. Get the real deal about study abroad from those who have done it, these are the stories you won’t see on Instagram. Join us for an interactive panel discussion with IES Abroad Alumni as they share their bloopers from their time abroad and how they learned from them.

Thursday, April 15th

Studying Sustainability Abroad

Environmental stewardship is a global concern that unites us all, so going abroad creates the perfect setting for studying sustainability. In the spirit of Earth Day, we will be discussing programs that highlight this theme and hearing perspectives from past participants. Join us and discover programs where you can gain an international perspective on environmental sustainability.

Thursday, May 6th

Coffee Chat: Making the Most of Your Time Abroad

We know there are a lot of questions that you might have about studying abroad. Hear from IES Abroad Ambassadors (former students) and staff about the topics on your mind, such as making friends abroad, meeting locals, and inexpensive ways to experience your host city. We want you to be as prepared as possible for the experience of your lifetime!

P.S. Come as you are! Attendees' cameras are off, so you can focus on the information and not other distractions (sometimes we can't help looking at ourselves on camera, either 😉). Join in your PJs or while out on a walk—we’re cool with that!
