What’s better than a 3-day weekend? A 4-day weekend—especially now! That’s why we’re declaring this Friday “No Labor Day” and giving our staff an additional day off during Labor Day weekend.

Through the most challenging times of COVID-19, our staff have gone above and beyond—not just including when it was difficult, but especially then. Long hours, creative solutions, global teamwork, and grounded optimism bring us to today: a day that celebrates and recognizes our staff, and their steadfast support and dedication to IES Abroad.

We are proud to work with a group of people who are unwaveringly committed to and believe in IES Abroad and our mission, who genuinely care about each other and all our constituents, and who worked harder than ever before through the most difficult times we could have possibly imagined.

So, this Friday, our staff will be taking some much-earned rest and relaxation. Because come Tuesday, we’re back to work, helping our students realize their study abroad dreams.

To all of the global staff at IES Abroad and Study Abroad Foundation, thank you for not only helping us to survive, but setting us up to thrive.

On-Call Staff During "No Labor Day"
Staff members will still be on-call for any student emergencies that may come up. These colleagues will take their own "No Labor Days" another day. For after-hours emergencies involving a student in the United States or in transit to a program site, call 1.800.766.7793. For after-hours emergencies involving a student already at an IES Abroad program site, call 1.800.953.0171.
