FEU goes Global
This past fall, we hosted a study tour for Far Eastern University (FEU). This was the first study tour developed in partnership with a university in the Philippines. Eight students and one staff member from FEU visited our Barcelona Center for two weeks to learn about sustainable urban development from our Center staff and faculty through immersive experiences in and around the city. We consider this to be a truly “IES Global” program as it was a customized program tailored to FEU’s request and supported by both the Study Abroad Foundation (SAF) and IES Abroad. The program was sponsored by an IES Abroad alumnus who was so changed by his experience with us that he wanted to gift this unique study abroad opportunity to students from his home country of the Philippines.
