Jacklyn Durham is a passionate advocate for global education with over two decades of cross-sector experience spanning academia, non-profits, and private industry. Her journey began with a transformative study abroad experience in Australia, establishing her commitment to international learning. As a doctoral researcher, she has focused on enhancing the impact of global volunteerism through localization and developing technology-driven frameworks to support ethical international engagement. At the University of Sydney, she has taught and mentored students from over 20 countries, fostering inclusive, cross-cultural learning environments. Jacklyn has also consulted for institutions, strengthening international programs to enrich cross-cultural experiences. From managing student programs at a U.S. university to leading strategic operations in Australia, she brings a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges of studying abroad. Jacklyn’s work is grounded in the belief that global education harnesses the power of human connection to bridge divides and make the world a better place for people and the planet.
