Beginning Wednesday, July 1 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time, you will not be able to log in or create an account while we transition to our new student portal. Access is expected to be restored by the end of the day on Monday, July 6.

If you have started any forms in your MyIESabroad student portal, please complete and submit them by end of day Tuesday, June 30. Submitted forms will carry over automatically. Any forms that are started but not submitted by June 30 will not transfer—but don't worry, you'll still have access to the same forms in the new portal on July 6.

For more details, please review our student system upgrade information. Want a heads-up when the new portal is live? Fill out our interest form. Thank you for your patience during this transition. We're excited to welcome you into the new portal and continue supporting you every step of the way.

Intern Abroad in England

With an internship in England, you’ll experience the British workplace first-hand. Start your morning with a cup of tea or coffee (contrary to stereotypes, 70 million cups of coffee are poured every day in the UK!). Commute to work as locals do using England's extensive train and bus system. Spend the day collaborating with and learning from your coworkers before heading out to explore your host city with friends in the evening.

England internships open doors of opportunities to grow professionally and personally. Spend the work week developing résumé-worthy skills and spend the weekends exploring all that England has to offer.

“My program paired each student with an internship that matched their interests and gave them an immersive experience into British workplace culture...”

Boost Your Résumé with an Internship Abroad

With a full-time semester or summer internship, you're guaranteed an unpaid, for-credit internship placement of at least 32 hours a week in the field of your choice. Or complement your semester study abroad experience with a part-time internship.
