Inside Aparto Ripamonti: Another IES Milan Housing Option

As I mentioned in my previous post, this time I wanted to introduce another housing option available during the Spring 2026 semester at IES Abroad Milan: Aparto Ripamonti.

One thing that immediately stood out to me about Ripamonti was its more relaxed guest policy compared to Collegiate Bovisa.

For example, residents were allowed to invite multiple guests into their rooms. Because of this, my friends and I were actually able to gather in one friend’s apartment, cook together, and spend time there comfortably.

Like Collegiate, Ripamonti also has separate lounge spaces and study areas where students can relax or work. However, compared to Collegiate Bovisa, the common areas here always seemed much more lively and full of students.

Each floor also had a TV room that seemed connectable to laptops for movie nights or group viewing. Unfortunately, when my friends and I visited, we couldn’t figure out how to use it ourselves — but I’m sure the reception staff would help if you asked.

The room conditions at Ripamonti were also very good overall.

The kitchen setup was a little simpler compared to Collegiate Bovisa:

• two induction burners instead of four,
• and no oven inside the room.

Still, unless you cook very heavily, I think the kitchen setup is more than sufficient for everyday student life.

Ripamonti also has a shared kitchen space where students can use an oven if needed, which helps make up for the smaller in-room kitchen.

Rather than over-explaining everything in text, I think the photos probably show the atmosphere of the rooms much better — so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves a bit more in this post.
