About the Program

Length: Four weeks

We invite you to consider our IES Abroad Milan Center as a site for welcoming your four week program cohort. This immersive and innovative program offers academic rigor while uniquely showcasing the experiential potential of short-term study abroad by highlighting urban city design, regional travel, and a strong emphasis on engineering communication. This foundational program is geared towards first and second year Engineering students, with a particular appeal to Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, and Environmental majors. High caliber business visits and guest lectures with industry experts set the stage for a once in a lifetime experience. 

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee the availability of all housing, excursions, cultural events, guest lecturers or tours.

Academics

Academic Program includes:

  • One Faculty Director course (content TBD by the school, not transcripted by IES Abroad Registrar)
    OR
  • IES Abroad Faculty Taught Course TBD with six hours of 'survival' Italian Language
