About the Program
Length: Six weeks
We invite you to consider our IES Abroad Granada Center as a site to approach the connections between Artificial Intelligence (AI), political communication, and security. The academic program and co-curricular activities are meant to maximize the location while expanding students’ perspectives more broadly to apply their experience in a globalized society. Jointly designed with a research center at the University of Granada, this program examines how AI tools serve to analyze political discourse to implement security policies and practices. This highly immersive and innovative program at the crossroads of Southern Europe and North Africa is both academically rigorous and unique with experiential possibilities using project-based learning and travel, including a trip to Morocco. This program is designed to appeal to students who want to study International Relations, Political Science, Political Communication, or Computer Science.
