A Week in my Life Living in Rome | The Colosseum, The Vatican, & Food!

Here was the second part of my first week in Rome! We really took advantage of not having classes yet and traveled around a lot and explored the city we were living in for the next few months! I saw the Colosseum which was so breathtaking! We also saw cart and horses on the curbside that were giving people rides. Luckily, the friends that I went with wanted to take pictures and I got some beautiful pictures in front of the Colosseum as well as the sunset for that day. The first week I also noticed that we were super close to the Vatican and it was so beautiful.

The fun of traveling abroad is you are able to travel to other places too! I traveled to Florence with a group of people plus my best friend that I made on the plane to Italy! We rode on a train, my first train that I have rode on and it took about 2 hours to get there! The train system was cool because to think that is the main way people traveled in the past. It was so much fun seeing a different part of Italy. Florence was also so beautiful in the day and night time, they had such great food as well!

Here is the first half of the first week of studying abroad in Rome Italy! It has been SO much fun! From traveling for over 20 hours by myself to starting a new life here for the next 3 months. Everything is jam packed the first week but now I have had some time to settle in during the end of the week. I have been absorbing everything like a sponge, I have talked the basic Italian to locals and it has been so fun! There are so many sites to see and it has been such a great time so far!
