This scholarship was established by Phyllis Haberman, Vienna ’68-‘69, who earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Simmons College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University Business School. She has over twenty years of experience as an investment professional, executing private equity transactions across all investment formats. Currently, she is Senior Managing Director at Egret Capital Partners and an investor with Golden Seeds LLC, a network of angel investors dedicated to providing capital to early stage companies led by women. One scholarship of up to $9000 tuition discount, plus $1000 cultural stipend.
Applicants must be accepted to, attend and complete any standard IES Abroad program for the full 2018-19 academic year (beginning Fall 2018 and continuing in Spring 2019); scholarship recipient must attend the same program for both semesters
Applicants must have documented financial need
Preference is given to students who study in a country where English is not one of the official languages
Note: entire scholarship will credited to Fall portion of invoice. 20% discount for consecutive term enrollment will apply to Spring portion of invoice.
