Summarize: In 150 words or less, tell us what makes your our next Global Citizen of the Year.
Personal Statement: Please submit a 1-2 page personal statement that further details your service, volunteer, academic, or creative achievements. This statement should include the following:
1) How You've Changed the World Through Study Abroad - The contributions you made that impacted your local community while abroad.
2) How the World & Study Abroad Have Changed You - The lessons you learned not only about yourself, but also about the local community in which you lived.
3) How You'll Sustain or Continue Your Impact - Your plans to sustain or continue your impact once you've returned from abroad.
If selected as a Finalist or Grand Prize Winner, this Personal Statement will be used in Global Citizen of the Year Award Winner Features.
Part Three: Photos
Please upload (3) clear, high-resolution photographs of yourself that best showcases aspects of your Personal Statement. Please name each photo with your name, caption, and location as well (ex: Kevin Smith_Interning at University College London Hospital_London).

By submitting your media, you also permit IES Abroad to use your name in conjunction with any photographs or videos used to promote IES Abroad programs in any and all formats. IES Abroad retains the sole right to determine the future use of your media, and the photos and videos created by IES Abroad.
