My name is Brian Lucksinger, and I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I have been traveling since before I could walk. I have used traveling as a way not only to explore the world, but to understand myself along the way. I enjoy immersive experiences that give me a diverse perspective on culture and inclusion. I'm super excited to be studying at City, University of London this spring semester, and I plan on using my blog as a way to document my experiences!
One of the coolest things I’ve found about studying abroad with IES Abroad is how I’ve been able to discover the coolest places that I wouldn’t have found on my own! You have field studies and day trips for most classes, which are actually super fun and cool.
After being in Shanghai for only a few weeks, I have started to get the hang of the food situation. However having an allergy in a place where few to no people have dietary restrictions is quite challenging.
In two short trips of the course of the past two weekends, I have experienced some of the incredible geographical and meteorological diversity of Morocco. Last weekend, we had our IES Abroad group trip to the Sahara.
