Mariah is a free-spirited adventurer from the University of Rochester. She spends much of her free time either planning her travels around the world or travelling. Wherever she is Mariah enjoys trying new foods, singing the wrong words to music, and exploring with friends. Her favorite part of the week is when she faces the crowds for fresh food and great deals from open air markets; in her opinion, bargaining is a universal language.
I’ve finally made it to the marvelous Madrid. Wait, let me quickly introduce myself: I’m Mariah and I’m a master procrastinator. Ask some of my friends -- they’ll tell you tales of how I’ve written entire essays over a lunch period and still received above-average marks, or how I’ve purchased bus tickets from one state to another on the day of my trip for less money than a pizza. Don’t get me wrong -- I love to make plans for my travels, but there’s something thrilling about getting everything done in the last minute. Okay, maybe I just put things off more than I should. Either way, let me tell you the three steps that have gotten me to this point along with some pro-tips on finding great deals and making things work even when they seem like they might not.
