Jean (Heyen) Sink, 1999 Fall - Jean is pursuing her Professional Life Coaching certification with University of Wisconsin-Madison. She recently celebrated 15 years as a life coach, working with clients across the globe. Jean is also the Director of Admissions for the Wisconsin Evening and Executive MBA Programs at University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves at Door Creek Church as the emcee for a moms ministry (MOPS & MOMSnext).

Mike Schaengold, 1980 Spring – Mike Schaengold has joined the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP (“GT”) as a Shareholder (i.e., Partner). Mike is the firm-wide Co-Chair of GT’s Government Contracts and Projects Practice, and he will also continue to specialize in U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (e.g., patent) appeals and U.S. Court of Federal Claims litigation. GT has over 1800 lawyers in its 36 world-wide offices.
Lynn Seldon, 1982 Spring – Lynn has a new novel out called Virginia's Ring and it is the story of two cadets at the Virginia Military Institute (which he took a semester off from to experience IES Abroad in London).

Evan Erdberg, 2002 Fall – For the past twelve years, Evan has worked in the online education industry developing online schools of education, creating master degree programs, and setting up evaluation and professional development systems in school districts nationwide. Recently, Evan was chosen to lead a K-12 virtual staffing company that pioneers the ability to offer classes online via video so that the student sees the teacher and the teacher sees the students. In order to take on this new job Evan moved from NYC, where he has been for the past eleven years, to Austin, TX.
Makia Green, 2013 Spring – Makia is finishing her senior year at the University of Rochester. After studying abroad, Maika was hired as an assistant at her university’s Study Abroad Office and performed in the campus production of Madame de Sade.

Michael Amato and Jessica Geller, 2005 Summer – Michael and Jessica met while studying with IES Abroad in London in Summer 2005. They had a class together and did not initially become friends, and had no idea their lives would change forever by finding each other. At first, Jess felt no need to talk to Mike outside of class because she heard him talk enough during class, but this would change. Over time they spent more time together, saw many sights, and made great friends. But the trip ended and everyone went their separate ways. Over the next few years, Mike and Jess kept in touch and found themselves growing closer together. Now, they have decided to officially take on the future together. On August 16, 2014 they are planning to get married. Mike and Jess currently live in Washington, DC. Jess works as an attorney at the Discovery Channel and Mike is the Communications Director for the House Armed Services Committee on Capitol Hill. Leslie McCauley, 1984 Fall – Leslie is on faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College in Theatre Arts. Exactly twenty years after she participated in the IES Abroad London program, she found herself teaching for SRJC's Study Abroad Program in the same Bloomsbury neighborhood.
David Schnider, 1993-94 – David recently started his own law firm in the San Fernando Valley, primarily handling copyright, trademark, and licensing issues for small to mid-size apparel, consumer product, and professional service companies. He still lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife (who he met through IES Abroad) and their three boys.

Maddine Insalaco, 1977 Fall – Maddine is a New York and Italy based artist and curator who founded a landscape painting program in Tuscany in 1995. Visit www.landscapepainting.com for more information.

Emily Cowen Plant, 2002 Spring – After completing undergraduate studies at Indiana University and an MBA at Xavier Ohio, Emily attended the University of Kentucky and received a PhD in Marketing. In 2010, Emily started as an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Montana. She is thrilled to now be leading a summer study abroad course at the university and sharing the joy of studying abroad with the next generation of students!
Kelly Bush, 2002 Summer – In June 2013, Kelly is beginning a new role as a Legal Analyst with Sprint Corporation at the Overland Park campus.
Sarah Kosar, 2009 Spring – After studying abroad, Sarah received a BA in Theatre, and a BA in Film from Penn State University and moved back to London where she works as a playwright. After returning, Sarah received a Masters in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at Central School of Speech and Drama. Her latest play, Hot Dog was recently produced by Descent at The Last Refuge, London in March 2013 and was also published by Playdead Press. Hot Dog has now been introduced to Penn State University’s syllabus for THEA407: Women in Theatre, taught by Dr. Susan Russell.
In London Sarah has worked and written with The Lyric Hammersmith, Roundhouse Radio, Theatre Centre, Hampstead Theatre, The Last Refuge and the Soho Theatre, as well as being featured in a showcase of the best plays submitted to the BBC’s International Playwriting Competition. She has taken part in the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and is currently on their Studio Invitation Group writing a new play. Sarah has been asked to write a new short play for The Old Red Lion Theatre, London and it will be produced in May 2013 as part of Outlines.

Wendell (Lynn) Seldon, 1982 Fall – Lynn was attending a small military college, Virginia Military Institute, where he initially saw an IES Abroad poster. With the help of a forward-looking dean and a ton of paperwork a semester abroad became a reality. Lynn credits his time in the UK to opening his eyes to the world. After a stint in the Army, Lynn pursued a career as a travel journalist and has made a full-time living at it since 1987.
Greg Morley, 1987 Summer – Greg is living in Hong Kong.
Lindsay Thomas Bongi, 1997 Spring – Lindsay is currently home with her children and working part-time as a Local Coordinator for high school foreign exchange students with Academic Year in America. Lindsay loves the job because it gives her the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and reminds her of her semester abroad.
Anthony Vogel, 2005 Spring – Anthony is living in New York City.
Matthew Stephan, 2006 Fall – This past summer Matthew married Priscilla Egan, London Fall 2006. Fellow alums Jeff Hannan, London Fall 2006, and Colin Burling were also in attendance. They live in Massachusetts.
Katherine (Kit) Candler, 2010 Spring – Kit graduated from Wofford College in May 2012. She is pursuing a master's degree in Historic Preservation at the University of Georgia.
Jaclyn Bennett, 2011 Fall – Jaclyn is a MSc student studying mental health and psychological therapies at Queen Mary University of London.
