Informed Decisions With You in Mind
As we consider what study abroad can look like in 2021, we’re closely monitoring travel warnings and student mobility options to ensure you can get where you need to go, safely! Below you'll find updates related to travel and immigration regulations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. State Department travel warning levels. This information is updated regularly to the best of our knowledge based on a variety of sources, including consulates and embassies across the United States, information from our Centers abroad, and additional sources linked below.
IES Abroad Program Evaluation Dates
To bring more structure into such a flexible time, we've set an Evaluation Date for each program in which we will pause to review the likelihood of whether or not that program can run.
Program Evaluation Dates are listed next to each program below. If the decision to suspend a program is made, students will be notified by this date along with possible programming alternates. If the decision is made to continue with our plans to run that program, students will also be notified, and we will continue on-going assessment of the feasibility of the program as we prepare for the summer term. Please know that while these dates help you anticipate a more concrete timeline, details for Summer 2021 can change at any time.
As always, our standards for health and safety and our commitment to do right by our students guide us through this decision-making process.

We'd love to chat! It's usually best to hop on a call to talk through the specifics of how our programs can work for you and your needs. That's why we have a dedicated College Relations Manager for your college/university.
