The University of Canterbury International Mobility Inbound Study Abroad Scholarships have been established to provide support for students from overseas universities to experience one semester or one year at the University of Canterbury as a non-degree Study Abroad student. 4 awards of NZ$ 2,250 have been allocated for IES Abroad students for Semester 1 2019 (Spring 2019) and 4 awards of NZ$ 2,250 for Semester 2 2019 (Fall 2019).
All scholarship funds will be awarded in the form of a discount that will appear on the IES Abroad program invoice. The final amount of the discount will be based on the currency exchange rate at the time of invoicing.
If selected for a scholarship, it is the recipient’s responsibility to determine how this award may affect an existing financial aid package.
Decisions will be sent via email approximately one week after the deadline.
