Academics
The University of Oregon is a bubble of energy, providing excellent education to a smart, thriving student body. In joining this virtual community, you sharpen your thinking, indulge your curiosity, and feel the challenge to live your best life.
Alongside inspired, diverse classmates, you learn from distinguished faculty who are as busy learning as they are teaching, driven by their all-consuming love of knowledge.
With fresh thinking encouraged and success celebrated, you feel compelled to “question critically, think logically, communicate clearly, act creatively, and live ethically” in the small, personalized online classes.
Courses
In your not-for-credit virtual Intercultural Communication program, you learn to use goal setting and reflection to enhance both your own learning and to prepare you for a successful teaching career.
Twice a week, you meet with a live expert instructor and other English speakers to support your learnings in the four in-depth asynchronous modules, which take 12 to 17 hours a week to complete.
This virtual immersive experience levels up your intercultural communication skills for English speaking and dives into the benefits of goal setting, reflection, and portfolio use so you can grow and inspire your own future students to adopt an intercultural approach to their own learning.
