The reason I chose Barcelona is because of the rich culture and history, incredible accessibility to other countries and of course the food. I consider my self to be a big foodie and cant wait to try new things. I also want to be a sports broadcaster when I graduate college and I believe having experience outside of the US will only help me enhance my knowledge for sport and communication. I am probably the least familiar with soccer (football) out of all sports so I am looking forward to being exposed to that kind of culture. I plan on becoming involved in Barcelona with local or even international soccer teams where I can hopefully produce videos interviewing athletes as a means of gaining experience swell as helping create content and exposure for these particular teams.
