My name is Harmon Perez! I am exited that I have the opportunity to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain! My major is Secondary-Spanish education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I grew up in a small town, so even though Salamanca is a smaller city of Spain, it'll be ginormous for me. I cannot wait to further my Spanish fluency in Salamanca this spring-semester!

Favorite thing about going abroad?

I chose Salamanca over all the other amazing options because I considered two things. Finances and what I wanted to learn. So of course Salamanca has a very rich history. They were owned by the Catholics, then the moors, then the Catholics took over again, and I assume that it influenced the astounding buildings I see in the photos of Salamanca. Also, I wanted to be in a smaller city than Madrid or Barcelona, so Salamanca fit that criteria.
