After a year of the unexpected, we are still in the midst of unprecedented times which could severely impact everything we do (and plan to do this Fall) in the matter of a day. Likewise, it is likely that when in London, we will not leave the UK or do much traveling at all during our time abroad this Fall. As such, I am highly looking forward to fully immersing myself in the rich and culturally diverse neighborhoods surrounding Central London, such as the one in which I'll be living - Kentish Town and the nearby Camden Town. One of the parts I'm most excited about studying abroad, in general, is that I'll be able to quickly check off the list of the classic, sometimes cliche, tourist attractions that everyone goes to when they visit; I want to indulge in the hidden gems of London, take time to breathe in the neighborhood, and take advantage of every opportunity that London has to offer (at least, as many opportunities as I have time for!).
