I chose to do language immersion in Nantes because I truly want to improve my French language abilities. I knew that if I were to go somewhere more tourist-heavy like Paris, locals would immediately switch to English when I tried communicating with them. After reading about the Nantes program, it seemed like a perfect fit. I love the small-town feel and that I will meet so many locals during my semester. My goal was to be fully immersed in the French language and culture, so I decided Nantes was the best program for me to accomplish these goals.
