Nicole is a journalism and political science major at Texas Christian University. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, she is excited to leave the Southwest behind for a semester at the University of Sydney! While abroad, you’ll most likely find her en route to a coffee shop or on the beach with a book in hand.
Growing up, my parents taught me that my life would be a direct result of my dreams and how hard I work to achieve them. I’ve always dreamt of living in a city and country that is not my own — meeting new people, immersing myself in a different culture and exploring places I’d only ever seen in pictures. Now, it’s happening. In Sydney, I’m most looking forward to making the dream I’ve worked so hard for a reality and to learn and live in a foreign city, while also learning more about myself.
