Marlowe Padilla is the Ambassador Program Coordinator at IES Abroad. In this role, Marlowe provides overall management of the IES Abroad Ambassador Program and focuses on engaging ambassadors in the process of recruitment and marketing efforts.
Marlowe is no stranger to international education, being an alumnus of the IES Abroad Sydney program himself (Spring 2015) where he additionally served as a blogger for the program. In the Summer of 2016, Marlowe also worked for IES Abroad Sydney as the Program/Resident Assistant to the IES Internship Sydney and IES Abroad Sydney Summer students.
Prior to joining IES Abroad in September 2016, Marlowe received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Cinema and Photography at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He is currently pursuing an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration / Student Affairs at Loyola University - Chicago.

What is your favorite place you've traveled and why?
Wellington, New Zealand was one of my favorite places I've ever been to. It's one of those places that feel like a mix of different locations - home, being one of them.
What is the one item you can't travel without?
If I'm going abroad, my camera has to come with me! Its helped me document my travel experiences in unique, and special ways.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love taking portraits of people - you can tell a lot about a person's character. I also enjoy writing, and spending time by Lake Michigan with a good book or a coffee.
