Born in the USA to an American father and European mother; attending primary school in Australia, John Ockey found himself to be the classic Third Culture Kid. Following degrees in Italian Literature and Art History, John worked at the United Nations in Geneva, before discovering IES Abroad. He has not looked back since!

My father is from Bryce Canyon, UT. There can't be a more beautiful place on the planet.

My father always told me to remember the following: 'It's better to be trusted than to be loved.'
