Embracing Sustainable Living for the Global Good: A Conversation with Stuart Reigeluth, IES Madrid, 99-00, Founder of REVOLVE and Alex Walker, Dean of Faculty, IES Abroad Barcelona

Join us for a conversation with IES Abroad Madrid alumnus Stuart Reigeluth who will talk about going from being a freelance journalist to becoming an entrepreneur and Founder of REVOLVE working in the sustainable living communications space in Europe and the Middle East, together with Alex Walker, who is currently serving as the Team Lead developing new innovative Sustainable Living curriculum at IES Abroad. This new curriculum will provide college students in any discipline with tools they can use to play a meaningful role in making our world a better place for all.

Stuart Reigeluth
Stuart Reigeluth is the Founder of Revolve Media, which in addition to publishing Revolve- a magazine focused on sustainability issues and insights- provides strategic communication and creative content solutions to improve sustainable initiative outreach and impact around the world. IES Madrid served as the starting point for Stuart’s extensive international studies. After graduating from Williams College, he went on to earn a master’s in Political Science from the American University in Beirut, and later an MBA from Sovay-Ponts in Brussels.

Alex Walker
Dr. Alex Walker is a longtime valued member of our IES Abroad Barcelona leadership team, most recently serving as our Assistant Director, and Dean of Faculty. Alex achieved master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge, and Cranfield University, followed by a PhD. In Planning Studies from University College London. He has most recently played an instrumental faculty role in IES Abroad’s newest curriculum initiative, Sustainable Cities which is currently being piloted across four international IES program locations.
