You can receive a need-based aid decision in just 5 days—before you’re even accepted to your program!

Offerings include:

When you apply to an IES Abroad program, you can now also submit a Need-Based Aid application. We will let you know your award amount within 5 business days, even if you haven’t been admitted to our program yet. This allows you to know what need-based aid you would receive from us as you make your decision to study with IES Abroad.

If you are receiving need-based aid now as part of an overall financial aid package at your home school, there is a good chance that you could receive need-based aid from IES Abroad.

For fall and spring programs, applicants must attend a private school that is a member or associate member of the IES Abroad consortium and the home school must have a policy of transferring at least 75% of institutional aid for study abroad.  For summer programs, applicants must attend any school that is a member or associate member of the IES Abroad consortium.

You must apply to and attend an IES Abroad program to be considered for IES Abroad Need-Based financial aid.
