Demonstration of theatrical techniques, with an emphasis on oral expression and physical movement on stage.
Required work and form of assessment:
Vocal exercises. Memorization of script, performance, and rehearsals outside of class. The play is performed at the end of the semester.

French drama techniques will be stressed, including the importance of voice and articulation, movement on stage and, in particular, the intonation and rhythm of standard speech.
