There is something magical about Wimbledon—as 27 IES London students discovered on Friday, June 29, getting up at 4:45 a.m. to catch the IES Abroad coach from outside Nido Spitalfields to southwest London. It was well worth it!

We are pleased to announce that Sarah Cordero Pinchansky has been appointed to the organization’s first Center Director for its new academic study abroad programs in San Jos̩, Costa Rica.
As Center Director, Pinchansky will lead all aspects of our San Jos̩ Program in Costa Rica, with responsibility for academic programming, field trips, student services, housing, and more.

We're excited to let you know that on Wednesday, May 9, the IES Abroad Marketing Department was awarded a Golden Trumpet Award by the Publicity Club of Chicago.
IES Abroad’s “your world [redefined]” campaign won top honors in the Marketing Category. The Marketing Category encompassed comprehensive programs to publicize, promote, and support the marketing of products, events, or services to general or special publics.
Fellow winners in this category were Hilton HHonors, McDonald’s, Air National Guard, and General Motors. This is a big honor for IES Abroad!
