At IES Abroad, we enjoy partnerships with the following organizations:

APUNE—Founded in 1968 by a group of resident directors of North American programs in Spain, the Asociación de Programas Universitarios Norteamericanos en España (APUNE), is a cultural, non-profit organization which services American study abroad programs. It was established as a support system to deal with issues concerning study abroad.

Chicago Scholars—The Chicago Scholars Foundation provides Chicago’s young leaders with the support they need to achieve their dreams: mentorship, college admissions support, and access to summer internships and career programming. The Chicago Scholars Foundation reaches out to students from recently emigrated families and under-resourced communities and nurtures their talent through an innovative five-year program lasting from the senior year of high school through the senior year of college.

Diversity Abroad—Diversity Abroad is an educational organization whose mission is to ensure that students from diverse economic, educational, ethnic, and social backgrounds are aware, have equal access to, and can take advantage of the benefits and opportunities afforded through global education exchanges.

The Forum on Education Abroad—A non-profit charitable organization founded in 2001, the Forum on Education Abroad improves education abroad programs to benefit the students who participate in them. The Forum is achieving this goal by establishing standards of good practice, improving study abroad curricula, and promoting data collection and outcomes assessment, all to advocate for high quality education abroad programs.

HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities)—An association of nearly 450 colleges and universities, HACU is  committed to the higher education success of Hispanic students in the US and abroad.

NAFSA—NAFSA: Association of International Educators is a member organization promoting international education and providing professional development opportunities to the field. Hundreds of NAFSA members volunteer to serve the Association and thousands advocate for international education.

Rotary International—The global service organization with over 1.2 million members commits to improving quality of life in their communities and beyond through service. IES Abroad is proud to partner with Rotary District 5450 (Denver, Colorado) in providing the academic and on-site support for their Ambassadorial Scholars program.
