 The IES Abroad Dublin Irish General Studies Summer Program is designed to give you intensive academic exposure to Ireland's political and social history, contemporary economic issues, and literary heritage. By combining coursework at the IES Abroad Dublin Center with study outside the classroom, you have the opportunity to discover the rich heritage of Ireland, as well as its contemporary culture through its art, theater, and film.

 Excellent internship placements representative of Dublin’s exciting political, literary, and business life are available to you on the IES Abroad Dublin Summer Internship Program. Participating in an internship not only allows you to develop an international résumé, but also fully integrates you into daily life in Dublin. In addition to practical work in the field, you attend an academic seminar for which you earn six credits.

 The IES Abroad Intensive Acting Program gives you an intensive, practical approach to performance.
Over the course of the summer, you will come to know Dublin's winding streets and unique charm through a variety of culturally enriching opportunities. The program offers enrollment at the acclaimed Gaiety School of Acting- National Theatre School of Ireland, housing in fully-equipped student apartments, and field trips throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
