IES Abroad and the Forum on Education Abroad Conference

IES Abroad will participate in a wide array of events and activities at this year’s Forum on Education Abroad Conference in Boston. The following provides an update and an overview of IES Abroad activities.

In an effort to provide attendees with as much opportunity as possible to participate in Forum activities and sessions, IES Abroad has cancelled the series of Learning Opportunities originally scheduled for Thursday and Friday in the 4th Floor Lexington Room of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

IES Abroad will staff a table in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, where representatives will be available to discuss any aspect of IES Abroad’s programs and offerings.

Among the IES Abroad staff members attending the Forum Conference will be President and CEO Mary Dwyer, who is a founder of the Forum, a former vice chair and current board chair; Michael Steinberg, an elected member of the Forum Council and Chair of the Standards Committee; and Bill Hoye, a member of the Forum Board who serves on the Board’s Nominations Committee.)
