Program requirements:
  • 18 Years of Age
  • In good standing at your home school
  • 3.0 GPA or Better on a 4.0 Scale
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior standing when program begins. Some courses at local universities may not be open to sophomores. Please contact an IES Abroad Representative for further details.
  • Four semesters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent.
Required application materials:
  • IES Abroad Application for Admission
  • Authorization and Evaluation.  Your on-campus study abroad advisor will instruct you on approval for this program
  • Official Transcript.  Submit one official transcript for each college/university you have attended since high school
  • Foreign Language Assessment Form.  Download the Foreign Language Assessment Form, print it out, and email, fax, or mail it to IES Abroad, per the instructions on the form.
